UCSF Betty Irene Moore Women's Hospital
UCSF was one of the first designated National Centers of Excellence in Women's Health. Our scientists and clinicians have long been leaders in reproductive health and fertility, gynecological conditions, cancer and more.
The new UCSF Betty Irene Moore Women's Hospital was designed to deliver the same cutting-edge care in a setting that supports the whole woman. Light-filled private rooms are built to comfortably accommodate visiting loved ones. More than 4 acres of green space and tranquil meditation rooms provide space to relax and recharge. Amenities in our state-of-the-art Birth Center range from bathtubs built specifically for laboring women, to a dedicated infant care area in every room, so mom and baby can stay together during minor tests and procedures.
These are just a few of the many touches designed to help soothe the spirit, speed recovery and respect the unique needs of women at every stage of life.
